Ben Ezechime, Enugu  Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has flagged off the distribution of 10,000 professional kits to midwives in the South-East states. The states include Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Imo, and Enugu.  While flagging off the distribution the First Lady said that the initiative complemented the Federal Government’s retraining exercise for 120,000 frontline health workers nationwide. She said over 60,000 health workers have completed their training under the programme. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka One person has reportedly lost his life in a road crash involving a Premium Motor Spirit-laden tanker that occurred at Umuike Echem community, Nnobi, close to Nnokwa junction, Idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra State.
