Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Gunmen on Thursday attacked a police check point along the Abakaliki-Enugu Highway setting a patrol van belonging to the Police ablaze. The incident happened at Ishieke junction at the outskirts of Abakaliki town. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka A joint team of security forces has busted insurgents’ camps during a raid of forests in Ogbaru Local Government Area, Anambra State. Spokesperson of the Anambra State Police Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the team, recovered nine Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and four Walkie Talkie from the camps found during the operation.
