Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Anambra State Government has disclosed ongoing plans to institutionalize physical register for sex offenders to help combat sexual and gender-based violence in the state. The State’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Prof Sylvia Ifemeje, gave the hint at a one-day stakeholders meeting organised by the Ministry of Justice with support from the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption, RoLAC program 2, in Awka, the state capital. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka The Anambra State High Court of Otuocha Judicial Division holding at Onitsha has sentenced two brothers to death by hanging or by firing squad until life completely goes out of them. The two brothers, Hyacinth Onwurah and Jerry Onwurah, were convicted of murdering their cousin, Mr Nnalue Onwurah. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia A High Court sitting in Milimani, Nairobi, has ordered the Kenyan Government to pay 10 million Kenyan shillings to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
