We won’t tolerate illegal structures inside Lokpanta trailer park, Abia govt replies cattle dealers Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Abia State Government, has said it would not tolerate erection of illegal structures inside the Lokpanta trailer park built by the Federal Government. The Government bluntly told cattle dealers at the nearby Regional Cattle Market that the trailer park was for trucks and should not be converted into shanties. Ugo Nosiri, Owerri Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has directed the Imo Marketing Board (IMB) to commence procurement, sale and distribution of food stuff at subsidised prices to Imo citizens. The Governor, while giving the order, directed ministries, agencies and departments to proceed to the office of the Head of Service at the state Secretariat, to take receipt of their items. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Akoko-Edo Development Association known as Akoko-Edo Forum has condemned the recent spate of attacks on security operatives deployed to Akoko-Edo Local Government Area, Edo State. It would be recalled that an attack on the police operatives was first recorded in Ojirami, followed by irate Ojah community youths. The restless Ojah youths reportedly attacked a combined team of policemen and soldiers dispatched to their communities to maintain peace, following internal disagreements in the community. The Chairman, Enugu State Internal Revenue Service (ESIRS) Mr Emmanuel Nnamani, confirmed this on Wednesday.
