Ben Ezechime, Enugu The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed the death of six persons in a lone accident between Enugu Fly-over Bridge and Ugwu-Onyeama axis of Enugu-Onitsha Expressway. The Sector Commander of FRSC Enugu State Command, Mr Franklin Agbakoba, confirmed the incident to newsmen on Thursday in Enugu. In barely a month, a total of 23 persons lost their lives in a fuel tanker explosion accident that occurred in the Ugwu-Onyeama axis of Enugu-Onitsha Expressway. Ben Ezechime, Enugu A fully loaded truck coming from the Northern part of Nigeria on Thursday collided with a bus causing a fatal accident. The accident occurred close to the site of the tanker explosion at the area which claimed about 40 lives last month. An eyewitness, Mr Eze Paul, said that the truck conveying vegetables collided with oncoming vehicle at Ugwu-Onyeama/New Market flyover, near Enugu. “In fact, I personally confirmed seven dead bodies and many still trapped under the flyover bridge,” he said.
