It would be recalled that an attack on the police operatives was first recorded in Ojirami, followed by irate Ojah community youths. The restless Ojah youths reportedly attacked a combined team of policemen and soldiers dispatched to their communities to maintain peace, following internal disagreements in the community. The Chairman, Enugu State Internal Revenue Service (ESIRS) Mr Emmanuel Nnamani, confirmed this on Wednesday. The ESIRS in early hours of Tuesday sealed Enugu ShopRite and Spar malls over failure to remit purchase taxes in their malls to the government after being served several warning notices. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia No fewer than 65 top America-based surgeons and other physicians are expected in Abia State for a free medical mission by the Association of Nigeria Physicians in the Americas, ANPA, scheduled for April 4 to 14. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka A fatal road accident has claimed the life of one person and injured eight others in Ihiala Local Government Council of Anambra State. The crash took place two poles before Ihiala Local Government Area Secretariat by Owerri-Ihiala Expressway on Tuesday.
