Ben Ezechime, Enugu The Enugu State Command of the Nigeria Police, in collaboration with the Neighbourhood Watch personnel, says it has successfully dismantled an armed robbery and mini-truck snatching syndicate operating in parts of the state. The spokesperson for the command, SP Daniel Ndukwe, said that the operation took place on May 11, 2025, around 3:00 p.m. According to him, during the operation the operatives arrested one suspect, rescued a kidnapped victim, and recovered a stolen mini-truck. Public outcry has trailed the 2025 UTME with some individuals and associations threatening mass protest and legal action against JAMB if nothing was done to rectify the error. Ben Ezechime, Enugu Some women from Ugwuleshi autonomous community, Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State have protested the destruction of their farmlands, rape and killing of their natives by suspected herdsmen. The protesters alleged that their crops worth millions of naira have been destroyed by the herders.
