Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Anambra State Government has demolished more than four buildings used as hideouts by kidnappers at Umu-Umejiaku Nnewi, and Umuogbo Obiofia Nnewi-Ichi, all in Nnewi North Local Government Area. Ugo Nosiri, Owerri  Operatives of Police Command in Imo State, Okigwe divisional headquarters, in collaboration with residents of Ogii community, have arrested three suspects found in possession of a human skull.  The three individuals arrested, Patrick Okoere (29), Ifeanyichukwu Anyaemeka (28), and Chukwuemeka Onyekachi (20), who were arrested along the Okigwe-Umuahia Express Road, also had a native hen and white garments in their possession.  During questioning, the culprits claimed to have found the human skull along a riverbank on the Okigwe-Umuahia Expressway, an area where the command had received cases of kidnappings. Ben Ezechime, Enugu  Governor Peter Mbah on Tuesday signed into law, the bill to create a one-stop shop for tax collection and administration in Enugu State, thereby ending multiple taxation in the state. While signing the law, the governor, also declared the Enugu State Internal Revenue Service (ESIRS) autonomous. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki  The death toll has risen to 15 in the Sunday attack by suspected herders  in Ebonyi State.  Also, investigations revealed that apart from Amagu, which was widely reported as the village that was attacked, two other communities of Amaokwe and Umunesha in Nkalaha community were also attacked.
