Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Retirees from Ebonyi State local government areas are being owed over N9bn in pension arrears and gratuities. The Executive Secretary of the Local Government Staff Pensions Board, Mr Emeka Nwonu, stated this on Friday in Abakaliki, capital of the state. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka No fewer than 40 persons lost their lives in 112 road crashes that took place in Anambra State in 2023. This was disclosed by the Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Anambra State, Adeoye Irelewuyi, in Awka during the end of year 2023 Award/Durbar programme for RS5.
