Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Abia State Government has said it was set to revive the National War Museum Umuahia, a make it a major tourists designation in Nigeria. This is as the Government said it had discovered over 55 viable heritage sites across the state. Nyesom Wike, has issued a notice of impeachment against the incumbent Governor Siminalayi Fubara, and his Deputy, Ngozi Odu, accusing them of misconduct among others offenses. This was contained in a notice sent to the Speaker, Martin Amaewhule, on Monday and signed by 26 pro-Wike members of the Assembly.
