Lawrence Nwimo, Awka  Police in Anambra State have arrested four suspects allegedly involved in the burning of a 74-year-old woman in a wheelchair in Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area of the State. A release from the State Police Command said the suspects include a 21-year old lady Chinenye Ekwenugo, Uzochukwu Okeke aged 47, Fidel Anayo, 60; and Ikenna Anene aged 54 respectively, all from Abagana. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Gov. Alex Otti has commenced the distribution of  transformers his government procured for various communities across in the state. Speaking while distributing the first phase of the transformers to 11 benefiting communities, Governor Otti said that distribution of the transformers was part of his social contract with the people of the state which is to promote and provide reliable electricity supply to the communities. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki  A businessman and Philatropist, Azubike Daniel, has donated relief materials to victims of the recent communal clash in Omege,  Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. Ikengaonline had reported how two weeks ago, one person was killed and many others displaced in the community as their houses were set abalze in the crisis. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki  Ebonyi State Government has debunked reports alleging the arrest of Governor Francis Nwifuru’s Senior Special Assistant on Project Monitoring, Chukwuma Nwiboko. Ben Ezechime, Enugu  The  Federal Road Safety Corps, Enugu State Command on Wednesday said that the death toll in the tanker explosion on Ugwu-Onyeama axis of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, which occured on Saturday has increased from 18 to 21 persons.
