Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Ebonyi State governor, Francis Nwifuru, has sacked two Advisers for alleged gross misconduct. The affected officials are Mr. Nnannna Nwangele – Special Assistant to the Governor on Airport Security; and Mr. Felix Okemini – Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security (Ebonyi North). The affected Commissioners are; Solomon Azi (Grants and Donor Agencies), Victor Chukwu (Environment) and Ikeuwa Omebe (Rural Development. This is as the Government said it had discovered over 55 viable heritage sites across the state. Nyesom Wike, has issued a notice of impeachment against the incumbent Governor Siminalayi Fubara, and his Deputy, Ngozi Odu, accusing them of misconduct among others offenses. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki No fewer than 800 Ebonyi indigenes in Ilaje, Lagos State who were displaced have been evacuated by the Ebonyi State government. Lagos State government allegedly demolished structures considered illegal in Ilaje where many people from different states of the federation including Ebonyi State are residing, leaving them stranded.
