Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki  The people of Ohaozara, Onicha, (Ohanivo) and Ivo Federal Constituency have honoured a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Roy Umahi, for his outstanding achievement in the legal profession. They gave the award at the second Edition of the Ohanivo cultural Carnival and Talent Hunt at the Central School, Egunkwo, Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka The joy and festivities of the Christmas season has again been interrupted in Anambra State, following gruesome murder of a Roman Catholic Priest, Rev Fr.Tobias Chukwujekwu Okonkwo. The priest was shot dead by an unidentified gunman at Ihiala along Onitsha–Owerri road on the 26th of December, 2024. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka People of Amawbia community, predominantly youths in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State have protested what they described as multiple crisis creating disunity in their town. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Respite came the way of inmates at the Abia correctional facility as a non-governmental organisation, the Global Compassion Coalition (GCC), through its Nigeria chapter, Compassion Connectors Nigeria, known for helping the poor and prison inmates, fed over 800 of them.
