It would be recalled that on Monday, October 14, 2024, operatives of EFCC Enugu office raided Urban radio 94.5FM; disrupting a live broadcast and whisked away a broadcaster, Favour Ekoh, in the process. Ben Ezechime, Enugu The Governor Peter Mbah-led Administration in Enugu State has approved the relocation of Agu-Owa and Ugbo-Lawrence slums in Enugu metropolis to enable the administration develop the areas under his urban renewal agenda. The government also approved the development of relocation sites at Akpuoga Nike Estate to resettle the occupants of the slums. This was part of the resolutions by the State Executive Council (Exco) meeting presided over by Governor Peter Mbah at the weekend. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Nigeria’s electricity infrastructure otherwise called national grid has collapsed again throwing many states in the country into darkness. The latest collapse occured at about 7:48 pm on Monday night. One of the Electricity Distribution companies in the country confirmed this in statement. Police in Lagos has detained a hotel manager in Dopemu area over the death of a woman who allegedly came to their facility with an unidentified man. The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this on Sunday. According to Hundeyin, the Dopemu Police Division received report from the hotel manager on Friday at about 10.10 p.m. on the incident.
