Lawrence Nwimo, Awka The Fiscal Transparency Working Group (FTWG) of the Anambra State Open Government Partnership (OGP SAP II) has renewed call for speedy transmission of Anambra State Audit bill to the State Legislature for passage into law. They said passage of the bill into law will help strengthen the fight against corruption and ensure independence of the office of the Auditor General in the state. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki A Lawyer, Sunday Ununu accused of murdering an orphaned 36-year-old Man, Nnamdi Nwoke, on Friday disrupted his arraignment proceedings at the Magistrate Court 1 in the State Judiciary Headquarters, Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi State. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has approved the removal of Mr. Chido Obidiegwu as the Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS). Obidiegwu, who is in his third year in office as the MD of ABS, was appointed by the governor at the inception of his tenure in 2022. The Governor also swore in Dr Cliff Agbaeze, a former Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture as the new Commissioner for Agriculture. Ben Ezechime, Enugu The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has destroyed fake, adulterated and unregistered food, drug and cosmetic products worth N2,664,548,683 seized in the South-East geo-political zone. The destruction took place in a dump site at Ugwuonyeama in Enugu State on Thursday.
