 Lawrence Nwimo, Awka The Chairmen of the 21 local government areas of Anambra State who were recently elected on September 28, have been sworn-in, Ikengaonline reports. Professor Chukwuma Soludo, the Anambra State Governor, inaugurated them at the Executive Chambers, Government House, Awka on Thursday. Alex Otti has flagged-off the construction of the 19.1-kilometre Itungwa-Omoba-Amaise-Amairi-Mgboko-Ahiaba Ubi-Nkwo Elechi Road. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia A couple, Mr Jacob Udo and Mrs Comfort Udo, have been beheaded by unknown assailants at Isiala Autonomous Community in Bende Local Government Area of the state. A source, in a trending video, said the incident happened at Akabu-Ukwu, Uruagu Nnewi in the early hours of Thursday, October 3, and also led to the death of about two policemen.
