Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, came second in the polling unit of the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Tinubu won the Ward 3, Alausa, Ikeja, polling unit with 33 out of the 43 total number of accredited voters. Obi came a distant second with eight votes while Atiku only escaped with one vote. Gov. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Results trickling in Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections so far in Abia State, indicate that the Labour Party of Mr Peter Obi is in the lead.  Obi  swept St. Stephen’s Primary School polling units 022; and 024 respectively with a wide margin. The former Anambra State Governor polled 182 out of the total 183 accredited votes in Polling Unit 024. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Ahmed Tinubu, lost one of the polling units close to his voting point at Alausa, Ikeja, to his Labour Party counterpart, Mr Peter Obi. Obi won Tinubu at the polling unit with a narrow margin as he polled nine out of the 19 total vote cast in the  unit 052, Ward 3.  Tinubu got eight votes while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) received only two votes.

Ben Ezechime, Enugu The Labour Party Enugu State says it has observed with dismay the abysmal nature of work done by INEC Enugu State today being 25th day of February 2023 over late arrival of materials in various parts of the state. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Governor David Umahi had voted at his Umunwofo, Umunaga ward 10, polling unit 013, Ụbụrụ, Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. The Governor arrived at the polling unit at about 12:13pm and proceeded to the polling booth to cast his vote after being accredited by INEC officials using the BVAs machine.
