Ben Ezechime, Enugu The President Bola Tinubu-led Federal Government has commenced the construction of a Solar photovoltaic (PV) module assembling plant in Ihunekwagu community, Akpugo, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State. The project, which is estimated to cost more than N60 billion is the first of its kind in the country. It is expected to contribute to the Federal Government’s efforts towards the transition to renewable Energy. Mbah made the assertion on Saturday at his ward, Owo, in Nkanu East Local Government Area. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has mourned the passing of the senator representing Anambra South senatorial district, Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah. Ubah was reported dead on Saturday at the age of 52, after a brief illness. Sources said that he died in a hospital in London where he had gone for a medical treatment.
