Lawrence Nwimo, Awka A coalition of Civil Society Networks on AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (ATM Network) has expressed concerns over the rising cost of drugs for treatment of malaria and other sundry ailments in Anambra State. The State Advocacy Team (SAT) of the group raised the alarm during their recent advocacy visit to the Programme Manager of the National Malaria Eradication Programme (NMEP), Mr Nonso Ndibe. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka  Folowing of the tragic loss of about 22 lives to a stampede in Okija, Ihiala Local Government Area, Governor Chukwuma Soludo has issued directives to philanthropists for future distribution of rice and other sundry palliatives in Anambra State. Ngozi Obiachu, Umuahia Governor Alex Otti, has distanced himself from a circulating post of purported N25,000 Christmas cash transfer, describing it as a scam. The Governor in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Njoku Ukoha Njoku, advised unsuspecting members of the public against falling prey to the pranks of those behind the scam. …N150k as Christmas bonanza Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Traditional rulers in Abia State, have expressed gratitude to Governor Alex Otti for approving a monthly stipend of N250,000 for every traditional ruler in the state  This was contained in a press statement issued Saturday by the Chairman of Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, HRM Eze Linus Nto Mbah.
