Ben Ezechime, Enugu Sixteen passengers were on Tuesday evening roasted to death while two others escaped narrowly in a motor accident in Enugu Stare involving a hummer bus. The two survivors were immediately rushed to an undisclosed hospital where they are receiving treatment for the injuries they sustained. The incident occurred along Enugu/Opi/Nsukka Road, Enugu with 16 out of the 18 travelers in the affected bus burnt beyond recognition. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has given an official approval for the disposal of abandoned corpses at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH), Amaku-Awka. This was disclosed by the Public Relations Officer, Agbai Henrietta, in a statement released to journalists on Wednesday. The statement notified the general public that corpses to be buried are ones that have been in the mortuary from 2014 to December, 2023.
