As Obi, Ndukuba, others pay last respect Lawrence Nwimo, Awka The remains of the Late Dean, Church of Nigeria, Anglican communion, Most Reverend Maxwell Samuel Chukwunweike Anikwenwa, were on Thursday buried in his hometown, Awkuzu, Anambra State. Anikwenwa, who was the former Archbishop of Province II and the Retired Bishop of Awka Diocese, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), died on March 13, 2023, after a brief illness. He was aged 83. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Police operatives from Ogidi Division, Anambra State have apprehended the Ojoto community vigilante commander and two others for the abduction and murder of a tricycle operator, Christian Oluchukwu Onah, a 25-year-old tricycle rider from Ovoko community, Igbo-Eze South LGA, Enugu State but residing in Oba, Idemili South LGA, Anambra State. He was declared missing on 28th May 2023 when he failed to return after going out for the day’s business.
