Ben Ezechime, Enugu Governor, Peter Mbah of Enugu State has appointed Mr. Chijioke Okonkwo as the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Enugu State Electricity Regulatory Commission, (ESERC). The Governor also named Mr. Chinedum Ukabara, Mr. Chuka Akunne and Mr. Ruben Okoye as commissioners in the commission. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Crisis is brewing in Ekka community, Ezza North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State following the dissolution of town union leadership of the community by Governor Francis Nwifuru’s aide in the area, Chika Igboke.
