The suspects 29 years old Jamilu Monday and 25 years old Dantala Musa were unlawfully in possession of one locally made cut-to-size gun and ten rounds of live cartridges neatly concealed in their bag. Ben Ezechime, Enugu The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), has sealed two factories for producing 100-millilitre plastic alcoholic beverages and lack of Good Manufacturing practice (GMP) in Enugu State. NAFDAC enforcement operatives focused on raiding seven marked alcoholic beverage factories in two days within the state; four factories in Nsukka axis and three factories in Enugu axis. Ben Ezechime, Enugu The new Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Enugu State, Mr Cyprian Otoibhi, has pledged to tackle kidnapping and vandalism headlong in the state. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Abia State Government has volunteered to foot the medical bills of 30 residents in urgent need of surgery for various ailments. This is as the State Government has concluded a six-month long free medical treatment to residents across the state. Gov. Ugo Nosiri, Owerri Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has given a marching order to security agencies in the state to go after pipeline vandals. Governor Uzodimma stated this while condemning a pipeline explosion that occurred in the Ohaji area of the state, leading to the loss of five lives.
