Nonsochukwu Uwa, Owerri The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for Imo East Senatorial district, Uche Onyeagocha, on Sunday alleged that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi’s results were being swapped with that of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Owerri Municipal Council of Imo State. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The Labour Party has won the Isiala Ngwa North and South federal constituency of Abia State in Saturday’s National Assembly election. Labour Party candidate, Hon. Ginger Onwusibe, scored 20411 votes to floor his closest rival, Professor Anthony Agbazuere of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who secured 13, 508 votes. The All Progressives Congress, APC, got 2, 976. Before joining the Labour Party mid-last year following some disappointments with Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu, the Abia lawmaker had been a strong member of the ruling PDP.

Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Ebonyi State Government has denied the allegation that Governor David Umahi attempted to bribe Hon. Our Reporter, Abuja National Chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure, has raised alarm over the refusal of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to upload results collated in various polling units in Lagos and Delta states to its central server.
