Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki The Abakaliki Division of the Federal High Court, on Tuesday ordered the disbandment of the South East Security outfit code-named Ebubeagu in Ebonyi State. The disbandment, it was gathered, was consequent upon several alleged human rights abuses, extortions, illegal arrests, harassment of the citizens of the State and illegal use of firearms by the security outfit. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Amidst the confusion over Naira re-design policy of the Federal Government, the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has said that it had not shifted grounds on the February 10 deadline by the apex bank for the old currency notes to cease to be legal tender. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has directed the State Board of Internal Revenue to suspend the collection of taxes in all markets across the state with immediate effect. The directive according to the Governor, is to cushion the effects of the hardship imposed on traders following the scarcity of currency notes in the wake of the Naira redesign policy. Nonsochukwu Uwa, Owerri Unidentified gunmen Sunday night, attacked and razed  with explosives, the offices of the High Court in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State. This is coming  less than a week a judge of the Customary Court in the same Oguta LGA, Nnaemeka Ugboma, was dragged out and shot dead by hoodlums.
