Ben Ezechime, Enugu Scores of persons were feared missing while several houses with property worth millions of naira were lost in a communal clash which occurred in Ikolo community in Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State on Monday. A source from the community said that youths from neighbouring Aku community invaded the community at about 2 am with dangerous weapons including guns, machetes and petrol bombs and set many buildings ablaze while the people were asleep. Ben Ezechime, Enugu The Enugu State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Lloyd Ekweremadu, has said the state government was determined to improve its sporting records. Ekweremadu made this disclosure at the grand finale of the Sports Writer’s Assocation of Nigeria (SWAN), Enugu chapter Week at the Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) press center Enugu. Ugo Nosiri, Owerri Two policemen and a civilian have been shot dead at Ahiara junction in the Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Nsugbe community in Anambra East Local Government Area has condemned the recent murder of two of its youths, Chukwurah Nweze and Gozie Ambrose-Anyansi, allegedly by members of Nneyi Umueri.
