Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has lost his father, Pa Simeon Nwankwo Soludo, aged 92. The death was announced in a short statement signed by the Press Secretary To The Governor, Christian Aburime on Monday. According to Aburime, Pa Simeon died in the early hours of Monday November 6, 2023. “Pa Soludo is survived by seven sons, eight daughters-in-law, twenty-two grand-children and six great-grand children. “Governor Soludo noted that his late father lived a fulfilled life and died at the ripe age of ninety-two years (92) “Further information will be communicated to the public in due course,” he said.

Ben Ezechime, Enugu The Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) has confirmed the escape of abducted resident doctor attached to the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Ituku-Ozalla, Enugu State, Dr Orockarrah Orock.
