Ben Ezechime, Enugu Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has presented a budget of N166,602, 416,607 for 2023 to the State House of Assembly. The budget is 10.17 per cent lower than that of the outgoing 2022 fiscal year. Presenting the budget to the Assembly, Ugwuanyi said he hoped the incoming administration would consolidate on his achievements. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Gunmen enforcing the five-day sit-at-home order declared by a Biafra separatist have set ablaze a vehicle and some motorcycles at Nwakpu market in Ndufu Alike in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. They were trained on Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) and Integrated Brochure and Syllabus System (IBASS) newly introduced by the Board for quality and efficient services. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Findings by Ikengaonline have revealed that Abia State is yet to meet its quota of ad hoc staff being recruited by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for the 2023 general election. INEC had on September 14 commenced online recruitment of ad hoc staff to be engaged in the conduct of the 2023 polls.
