Lawrence Nwimo, Awka A middle-aged woman has blamed economic hardship occasioned by the removal of petroleum subsidy for selling her three-month old  grandson in Nnewi, Anambra State. The woman identified as Oluchukwu Nwosu, was apprehended after she sold the third child of her daughter for N50,000. The Supreme Court has reserved judgment in the appeal by Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against the judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Court which affirmed the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the February 25, presidential election. The apex court also dismissed the appeal of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM). The party was urged to withdraw its appeal as it did not have prayers for determination.
