Nonsochukwu Uwa, Owerri The Imo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Tuesday alleged that the presidential campaign vehicles of Atiku Abubarkar/Ifeanyi Okowa have been confiscated by suspected agents of the State Government. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Abia State, Professor Greg Ibe, has challenged Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, to explain to Abians how he deployed the over N4 billion, which represents the state’s share of the 13% Oil Derivation Fund. Ben Ezechime, Enugu The Nigeria Police Command, Enugu State, says it has arrested 17 suspects including a native doctor for different offences in various parts of the state. This was contained in it’s bulletin of Tuesday November 29th, 2022, signed by Mr Daniel Ndukwe, (DSP), the Command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO). Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki The Labour Party (LP) Senatorial Candidate for Ebonyi South Constituency, Linus Okorie, has regained freedom. He was reportedly granted bail today by a State High Court in Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi State. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka A forty-year-old man, Kenneth Nwangwu, of Akama village, Igbo-ukwu Aguata Local Government Area has been arrested by the police for allegedly defiling his daughter. The arrest was made after a tip-off by a whistleblower. But the suspect who is currently in police custody at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Awka, says he has never had carnal knowledge of his daughter. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Police in Ebonyi State have arraigned one Friday Okoro, a member of Ebubeagu South-East Security Outfit in the state before a Magistrate Court over an alleged assault on a minor at her residence in Abakaliki. The accused was arraigned on a two-count charge of conspiracy to commit felony and assault by beating the minor with sticks and gun butt which caused her harm on the buttocks, hand and face.
