Our Reporter, Abuja Popular gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, has died. Ikengaonline gathered that the singer died on Friday morning aged 51. His project manager, Hillary Vincent, has reportedly confirmed the news of the Niger Delta born artiste. “Yes it’s true. It happened this morning, ”he said. The cause of the death of the gospel singer is not immediately known, however, unverified sources stated that the singer slumped on Friday before he was pronounced dead. Sammie Okposo is also a well-known face in Nollywood as a soundtrack producer. He released his first album, Unconditional Love, in 2000.

Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Kinsmen of former governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Walter Ubaka Okeke, have frowned at what they described as media trial of their son. Okeke, an oil engineer based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, had been accused of stealing some oil pipelines by a business associate. Ben Ezechime, Enugu The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) on Thursday, distributed starter packs worth N1,500,000 to 30 Rice Farmers in the South-East to increase Rice production in the zone.
