Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has appointed two new commissioners to fill two vacant positions in the state. The new commissioners are Mr Izuchukwu Moses Okafor and Mrs Beverly Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche as Commissioners for Finance and Special Duties, respectively. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Former Group Managing Director and Executive Vice Chairman of Nigerian Army Properties Limited, Major General Umar Mohammed, has been court martialed for allegedly stealing a whopping $1.476 million US dollars belonging to the Nigerian Army. A Special Court Martial set up by the Nigerian Army  found him guilty of 14 of 18-count charges, including stealing and other sundry offences, which are all contrary to service laws. Ben Ezechime, Enugu Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has set up a Committee for the payment of N30,000 minimum wage to Primary School teachers in the state.
