Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has appointed two new commissioners to fill two vacant positions in the state. The new commissioners are Mr Izuchukwu Moses Okafor and Mrs Beverly Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche as Commissioners for Finance and Special Duties, respectively. The new commissioners were confirmed during Thursday plenary. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Former Group Managing Director and Executive Vice Chairman of Nigerian Army Properties Limited, Major General Umar Mohammed, has been court martialed for allegedly stealing a whopping $1.476 million US dollars belonging to the Nigerian Army.
