Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Telecommunication giant, MTN Foundation, has awarded scholarship to twelve students of the Centre for Disability and Special Needs Research (CENDASNER), Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State. This was made known by the Head, Students’ Welfare of CENDASNER, Mrs Onyinyechi Amauche-Ogar. She said part of the beneficiaries were students in various disciplines comprising Law, Art and Humanities of the university. Ugo Nosiri, Owerri Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has officially opened a 42-bedded hospital in Oguta Local Government Area of the state, named after the late political maverick, Senator Arthur Nzeribe. Speaking at the opening of the hospital, Governor Uzodimma, said the hospital is in line with his administration’s commitment to enhance healthcare accessibility in the state. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Anambra State is set to witness the emergence of another automobile manufacturing plant when Kojo Motors Auto Assembly and Natural Gas Facility begins operation in the state. The firm upon take off, will be the second automobile manufacturing company after Innoson Motors. It will also be the first Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) manufacturing automobile company in the state. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Ebonyi State Government on Friday expressed displeasure over the viral video portraying Ebonyi people as criminals in Anambra State.
