Prior to 2019, summers in Uli were marked by Jehovah’s Witnesses filling hotels and restaurants as they attended their annual conventions at the Uli Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in the State. Ben Ezechime, Enugu Gunmen on Saturday attacked the former Chairman of Udenu Local Area, Enugu State, Dr Godwin Abonyi and his wife along Ugwuogo-Neke Road. The gunmen, who were reportedly armed to the teeth sprayed bullets on the SUV Jeep while the former chairman and his wife were on their way from Enugu city to Obollo. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Abia State Government has given reasons for demolishing a two-storey building in Umuahia the state capital. The action according to Government, was a proactive move to save lives and property. Ugo Nosiri, Owerri Imo State Government has come up with modalities on the distribution of the state’s share of the fuel subsidy removal palliatives. Juliet Egbo, against the victory of Hon. Chimaobi Atu of the Labour Party (LP).
