Nonsochukwu Uwa, Owerri The Imo State Council of Elders, has inaugurated three committees to proffer sustainable ways of addressing the issues surrounding the insecurity in the state. The Chairman, Obi of Obinugwu, Eze Cletus Ilomuanya, made this known to newsmen in Owerri, on Sunday, after the inauguration of the three committees at the second quarterly meeting of the council held last Friday in the state. By Tunde Leye The ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has now become the second longest-running strike by the same union since the return to democracy.  It has shut down education in public universities across Nigeria for 200 days and counting as of September 1, 2022. Michael Onwuka, Enugu The Project Development Institute (PRODA), Enugu, is set for the production of vehicle spare parts in line with the efforts to diversify the Nigerian economy. Minister of Science and Technology (State), Henry Ikoh disclosed this on Friday in Enugu during an official visit to the institute.
