Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Anambra State Government has mapped out fund totaling N6.088 billion for the completion of a government house abandoned for over thirty years ago, Ikengaonline reports. The structure was acquired during the military regime and housed the then Anambra State College of Education, Awka, as a temporary government administrative office. Before the advent of the College of Education, the premises was used as a works-yard (camp) of Lodijiana Road Construction Company, the company that constructed Enugu-Awka-Onitsha Express Way. Three persons including a soldier were reportedly killed during the incident which took place on Wednesday. Michael Onwuka, Enugu The Senate Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation says it will provide the necessary assistance to realise the pencil production project at Projects Development Institute (PRODA), Enugu. Michael Onwuka, Enugu The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) says it is not against the presidential ambition of Mr Peter Obi or any other candidate. The South-East Zonal Chairman of the association, Alhaji Gidado Siddiki disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Fury and tension have enveloped Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia State following the alleged stabbing to death of a yet-to-be identified motorist by a personnel of the Federal Road Safe Corps, FRSC, on a road block at Umuikaa Junction of the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway.
