Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Abia State governorship flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr Uche Ogah has declared that his candidature is beyond APC. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has called on the Federal Government to adopt more proactive measures against the perennial flooding in the country. Soludo made the call while receiving relief materials donated by Sir Emeka Offor Foundation for persons displaced by flood in the state. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka The Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, on Thursday presented a budget estimate of N258.9bn to the state Assembly. The budget tagged, “Budget of Acceleration,” was presented at the State Legislative Chambers, Awka. It was made up of a capital budget of N164.2bn, accounting for 63.2 per cent of the budget with a recurrent expenditure of N95.5bn, accounting for 36.8 per cent of the budget. Nonsochukwu Uwa, Owerri The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, on Thursday called on the members of the Nigeria Guild of Editors, to restrain themselves from the temptation of publishing unofficial results in the 2023 general election.
