Doctors in Abia had after several appeals, protests and warning strikes that fell on deaf ears, embarked on indefinite strike to press home their demand for the payment of their salary arrears owed them by the administration of outgone Governor Okezie Ikpeazu. Nonsochukwu Uwa, Owerri The parents to the four children that were kidnapped last week Thursday by a suspected new tenant in their compound at Amako Autonomous Community, Njaba council area of Imo State, have pleaded that the abductors should release their children to them. The names of the children kidnapped were given as Divine, Isaiah, Success and Victor. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki A thirty-one-year-old man, Benjamin Ufoh has been arrested by Ebonyi State Police Command for allegedly defrauding St. Augustine Seminary College, Ezzamgbo, Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, the sum of N425,000.
