Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Thursday, approved cut-off marks for the 2022/2023 admission into universities and polytechnics in Nigeria. According to a release from JAMB, the cut-off mark for universities is 140 marks while that of polytechnics is pegged at 120 marks. The decision, according to the release was taken after a heated session comprising officials from JAMB, the Ministry of Education, the National Universities Commission, and the National Board for Technical Education among others. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Anambra State Government has denied reports making the rounds that it employed the services of herbalists and traditional spiritualists in fighting insecurity in the state. Reports have it that the State Government reached an agreement with traditionalists to eliminate criminally-minded elements and to stop making charms used by criminals especially, the ones used for abducting people.
