Our Reporter, Abuja The National Industrial Court, NIC, sitting in the Federal Capital, Abuja, has restrained organised labour from embarking on a nationwide strike over the removal of subsidy on Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise known as petrol. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki The Women’s Rights and Health Project(WRAHP) on Monday, urged President Bola Tinubu to sign the Sexual Harassment of Students in Tertiary Educational Institutions (Prohibition) Bill into law. This is as the women’s rights group lamented the high rate of sexual harassment of women in the country’s tertiary institutions. The group, in a statement, claimed that over 70 per cent of female graduates from tertiary institutions in the country have been victims of sexual harassment. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Fire at the weekend, destroyed the Magistrate Court 1 located inside the Ebonyi State Judiciary Headquarters Abakaliki. It was learned that the Magistrate Court 1 was completely destroyed by the fire alongside exhibits and other vital documents in the building.
