Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The Abia State branch of the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, has petitioned the Governor-elect, Dr Alex Otti, raising alarm over alleged looting at the Aba General Hospital. NMA, which raised the alarm when its leadership visited Otti in his Nvosi country home, urged him to take immediate steps to halt the sad development. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, COSEYL, have urged the United Nations to slam a visa ban on Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State over the demolition of buildings at Ajao Estate Lagos. The apex Igbo socio-political youth group claimed that most of the demolished houses were owned by Igbo people in Lagos. Ben Ezechime, Enugu The Blessed Gift, a Charity Foundation, founded by Gift Okolo, has offered scholarships to five (5) indigent pupils of Community Primary School, Onuogba, Nike in Enugu East Local Government Area. The President who gave the approval Friday, said the exercise would now hold in yet-to-be determined time by his successor.
