Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Former Aviation Minister and a chieftain of the ruling  All Progressives Congress (APC), Femi Fani-Kayode, has been summoned by the Department of State Services, DSS,  for alleging a coup plot ahead of the 2023 general polls. Fani-Kayode, an ally of the presidential candidate of the APC was invited by the Secret Police on Monday morning. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has said that elections would not hold in 240 polling units, spread across 28 states, citing insecurity as reason. INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, disclosed this on Monday at a meeting with leaders of political parties. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Tricycle operators popularly known as Keke NAPEP in Anambra State have declared war against  touts and fake revenue collectors in the state. The operators said they are targeting over 800 individuals believed to be touts and fake revenue collectors for the month. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia With less than two weeks to the presidential and national assembly elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Sunday, issued guidelines on voting. According to the guidelines, the electoral umpire has decongested voters in over-populated polling units and put them in nearby polling units to reduce the usual stress associated with voting at congested units. INEC urged voters to visit the commission’s website to verify the polling unit where they had been relocated.
