It was gathered that the fire, on Tuesday, gutted the Balogun Plaza housing ladies’ shoe dealers. Ben Ezechime, Enugu The current cash scarcity has continued to hit the residents of Enugu, capital of Enugu State in spite of efforts by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to end the scarcity. Ikengaonline investigation shows that poor transactions by banks and lack of notes have persisted in the city. In view of this, some residents have expressed worries over the situation. Secretary of the panel, Belo Hassan, said that the petitions comprised nine from senatorial candidates and 26 from house of representatives. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law (Intersociety), has reported that no fewer than 88 university professors and other experts have been found to be involved in the alleged rigging of the February 25 and March 18 general election.
