Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, and its governorship candidate, Professor Greg Ibe, respectively, have rejected the judgment of the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja which nullified the May 29, 2022 governorship primary of the party in Abia State. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Barely days after the gruesome murder of a UNIZIK lecturer in his residence in Awka, Anambra State capital, gunmen have again launched similar attack in Nkpor, Idemmili North Local government Area of the state. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia National Universities Commission, NUC, has directed the closure of all universities in the country during the forthcoming general election. The measure, according to a statement by the Commission, is to ensure the security of students and facilities in the institutions during the polls.
