The debate was organised by media houses in the state for various candidates in the forthcoming general election. No reasons were, however, adduced for the absence of the former Governor, who was duly invited according to the organisers. Ben Ezechime, Enugu The Enugu State Multi-Door Courthouse (ESMDC) has said it mediated in 411 cases in 2022, resolving families, individuals and groups’ conflicts. The Neutrals Programme Coordinator, ESMDC, Mr Benjamin Aneke disclosed this while analysing the Mediator Performance Report during a parley organised by the courthouse with Mediators in Enugu. Aneke said that within the period, 113 cases were referred to them by courts while number of walk in cases were 298. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Unknown gunmen have shot dead a member of the Anambra State Vigilante Service attached to the Central Security, Obosi, in the Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State. The incident happened on Thursday opposite the St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Obosi, along Nkpor/Obosi highway. Nonsochukwu Uwa, Owerri Confusion has taken over Imo State, following the killing of a Chief Judge of Customary Court of Ejemekwuru in Oguta Local Government Area, His Lordship Nnaemeka Ugboma, by unidentified gunmen on Thursday while in a court session.
