Ben Ezechime, Enugu The Enugu State Government, in collaboration with The Potters Wheel Foundation (TPWF), Enugu, has begun the training of 3,400 youths on vocational and entrepreneurial skills. The Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Mr Lloyd Ekweremadu, disclosed this in Enugu on Sunday. Ekweremadu said the aim of the training was to make the youths self-reliant and employable. General Olufemi Oluyede, has ordered the Nigeria Army, to crush the new terror group Lukarawa which is now active and unleashing mayhem on innocent citizens in parts of Sokoto and Kebbi states. Gen. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Governor Alex Otti, has vowed to prosecute civil servants suspected to be involved in the pension fund fraud in Abia State. The Governor who spoke during a media parley in Umuahia, vowed that all those involved in stealing of money meant for senior citizens would be brought to justice. Ben Ezechime, Enugu The Enugu State Government has confirmed 8 cases of Monkey-pox in parts of the state. The state Epidemiologist, Okechukwu Ogbodo, disclosed this in Enugu at a two day training for Red Cross Surveillance and Risk Communication officers.
