Lawrence Nwimo, Awka The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has commended the Federal Government of Nigeria for its decision to temporary open the newly constructed Second Niger Bridge during the festive period. The body said that the temporary opening of the 2nd Niger Bridge eased pressure of traffic on the old Niger Bridge during the yuletide season when traffic volume increased. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki An Indigene of Amaegbu Amara, Akpoha, Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebony State, Augustine Agha, lamented that he lost the wife of his younger brother, Mary Elem, a six months nursing mother, and her two year old son, Augustine Agha Elemchi, to the cholera outbreak that occurred in the community.
