Nonsochukwu Uwa, Owerri The Imo State Police Command has paraded one deserter from the Nigerian Army, Lance Corporal Nwangwu Chinwendu popularly known as “Onye army” aged 34-year-old man, from Amaohuru Nguru in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, for allegedly involved in the killing of prominent persons in the state. The social media have been awash that Obiozor who is rumoured sick for about two weeks now is dead. Vice President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Dr Kingsley Dozie, who debunked the rumour, dismissed it as “unfounded and false.” According to him, a prominent Igbo son like Professor Obiozor could not have died and the family will not make a statement to that effect.
