Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo alongside other Catholic Bishops, have pleaded with newly elevated Peter Cardinal Okpalaeke, to forgive the Diocese of Ahiara in Imo State for rejecting him as their Bishop. At a thanksgiving Mass held at St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Ekwulobia, Governor Soludo, appealed to the Cardinal to forgive Ahiara Diocese. He described the Cardinal as the rejected stone that later became the Chief cornerstone. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The menacing activities of bandits and kidnappers wreaking havoc around Umunneochi-Ihube-Okigwe axis reached its crescendo Wednesday when they abducted people conveying a corpse from Abraka in Delta State to Isuikwuato community of Abia State. A family member who spoke with Ikengaonline said the bizarre incident had thrown the family into confusion. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Operatives of the South-East Security outfit, Ebubeagu have again allegedly destroyed campaign billboards of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Ebonyi State.
