Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The West African Examinations Council, Monday, released the results of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination for School Candidates, 2024. This was announced in a statement by WAEC via its X handle. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Rotary Club of Umuahia, has unveiled plans to embark on multi-million Naira developmental projects in Abia State. Rotarian Temitope Nnaomah, who announced this during her installation as the 44th President of Rotary Club of Umuahia, District 9142, said the gesture was in continuation of the Club’s community transformation agenda. Ugo Nosiri, Owerri The Imo State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC), has announced an extension of the deadline for party primaries in the state. ISIEC Chairman, Chief Charles Ejiogu, who made the decision during a meeting with party chairmen explained that the extension was due to security concerns. According to Chief Ejiogu, the security issues in the state necessitated the extension, but assured them that it will not affect the September 21st council election date. The commission also reiterated its stance on not interfering in internal party affairs, but will respect court orders.
