After weeks of waiting, Ikengaonline, the flagship of South-East online media platforms, has made good its promise by releasing its research-based scorecards for the out-going Governors in the zone.

The scorecards covered the  eight-year administrations of Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State; David Umahi of Ebonyi State; and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State.

According to the Editor-in-Chief of Ikengaonline, Uche Ugboajah, the scorecards of the Governors of Anambra and Imo states who are not exiting office on May 29 will be released in due course.

The unbiased investigative report done in collaboration with Dataphyte and powered by the Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism (WSCIJ), x-rayed the performance index of the outgoing Governors in specific sectors using measurable metrics.

After the analyses of raw data collected from their respective states by panelists including seasoned journalists and rights groups, the Governors were scored based on their outputs.

The report which has enjoyed publicity and promotion for some days was released early today, May 29, before the affected Governors will hand over the mantle of leadership to their successors.

Many people and groups including Ohanaeze Ndigbo, World Igbo Congress (WIC)as well  Ndigbo in Diaspora have indicated serious interest in the report.

The report is expected to provide documentary evidence for the outgoing Governors to make either the Igbo Hall of Fame or Hall of Shame.
