Former Chief of Defense Staff, Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe; former Governor of Rivers State and Minister for Transportation, Rotimi Chubuike Amaechi; and former Governor of old Imo State, Gen Ike Nwachukwu (rtd.) are among the dignitaries sighted at the Umuahia Township Stadium for the inauguration of Gov. Alex Otti.
Other dignitaries sighted by Ikengaonline at the stadium include former Gov. Theodore Orji and his wife; the national Chairman of Labour Party, Mr Julius Abure; Vice presidential candidate of LP, Datti Baba-Ahmed.
Sighted also were Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe; Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, Senator Chris Adighighje; Imo Labour Party governorship candidate, Senator Attan Achonu, among others.
Meanwhile, the stadium is filled to its full capacity.
Otti who has just taken oath of office is being driven round the stadium acknowledging cheers from the mammoth and enthusiastic crowd.
